Motor Vehicle Stop leads to Drug Arrest and Other charges

On October, 15, at 11:42 Middleton Police stopped a 2007 Beige Toyota on Kings Highway for a motor vehicle violation.

A routine record check showed the operator was under suspension.  Further investigation led to the discovery of marijuana in the motor vehicle.

The Driver:

William Rabbitt Age 52
25 Bateman Street
Sanford Maine

was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension of his license, Possession of Drugs in a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Controlled Drug.  All charges are Class B Misdemeanors.  The quantity of drugs seized was consistent with personal use.

Mr. Rabbit was released on $3500.00 PR bail and will be arraigned in the 7th Circuit Court, Rochester on 11/4/2014 at 8:00 A.M.
