Non-Life Threatening injuries in Middleton Motorcycle/Car Collission

On today's date at approximately 12:27 p.m. members of the Middleton Police along with Middleton Fire and Rescue were dispatched to Route 153 in the area of Adams Way for a reported motorcycle and car collission.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a 2004 Saab 9-5 operated by:

Darion Labrie Age 17
54 Lone Star Ave
Farmington, N.H.

was driving North on Route 153 and turned left into a driveway.  At the same time, a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle was driving South on Route 153.  The motorcycle was operated by:

Diane Steward 53
44 Wilson Street
Wakefield, N.H

The motorcycle collided with the rear quarter of the Saab.

Steward was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital by Middleton Fire and Rescue for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Labrie and his passengers were not injured.

Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this collision.

The Farmington and Wakefield Fire Departments provided assistance as did the Farmington and Milton Police Departments.  Route 153 was closed for a brief period of time while emergency workers tended to the injuries.  No charges are anticipated in this collision.
