On today's date at approximately 3:20 p.m. members of the Middleton Police along with members of the Middleton Ambulance and Fire and rescue responded to the area of 437 Route 153 for a report of a single vehicle off the road and into a tree.

was driving a 2000 Subaru Legacy towards Wakefield when she failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway, striking a tree. Cheryl Toussaint was the lone occupant and suffered minor injuries. She was treated on scene and will seek medical treatment on her own.
Speed, alcohol and drugs were not a factor in this crash. No charges are being filed.
